The comprehensive portfolio of flaconi.de consists of over 850 international brands and 55,000 products in the areas of perfume, skin care, cosmetics, make-up, hair care, natural cosmetics and accessories. flaconi was founded in 2011 and today already has over 500 people in three locations, at its headquarters in Berlin-Charlottenburg and in its logistics centre, as well as the flaconi Concept Store in Berlin Mitte. The online shop has won numerous awards and is avaiable in Germany, Austria and Poland.

To achieve this goal, we are looking for a

(Senior) Technical Product Owner, 40h/week (m/f/d) in Berlin

Your Team:

The flaconi product team currently consists of three different sub teams. The first team is focusing on the area of "Awareness & Product Discovery", the second team on "Order and Customer Flow" and the third one on UI/UX Design.

We currently have a seat open in the "Awareness & Product Discovery" product team, led by Katharina Frei, who is more than five years at flaconi and has in-depth technical product knowledge. Besides that, she has a quite nice sense of humor.

What you can contribute:

  • As a technical product owner you will join the product sub team in the area of "Awareness & Product Discovery" which will focus on everything from “first visits” to “add-to-the cart events”, category and product detail pages as well as Search, SEO and tracking
  • As a technical product owner you plan and prioritize the backlog based on the product strategies and coordinate them in two-week engineering sprints
  • In joining the product team, you will work continuously with your colleagues on the further development of the product strategy and regularly translate this into a roadmap
  • As a technical product owner you will be responsible for data-driven performance analysis and reporting based on relevant KPIs
  • You make sure that the user flows in the Awareness & Product Discovery process in all our country shops work smoothly
  • You work with story mapping, epics, user stories and other product management methods to optimally plan your sprints
  • As a technical product owner you will work in a cross-functional team with Software Engineers, UX Designers and Scrum Masters to successfully develop software and be in close contact with other stakeholders from Marketing and Commercial Steering
  • You will also be responsible for developing an A/B testing strategy together with our Sales & Merchandizing team
  • You will be responsible for the external partner selection and management in your field

  • At least 2 years’ experience as a technical product owner working on scaling responsive web application based products
  • Ideally you have already steered the product development inside an e-commerce or SaaS domain
  • You already have led developers, designers and stakeholders by using agile methodologies
  • A degree in business, engineering or similar, or a comparable qualification is useful
  • Experience with road mapping processes will make your life much more easier
  • Critical attitude towards the status quo combined with a customer-centric mindset is what you need to succeed
  • Ideally you have gained experience with PIM, CMS systems, product search as well as SEO or online marketing
  • A high sense of responsibility and organizational talent, as well as a problem-solving and scalable approach is a must
  • A structured, transparent and flexible way of working is expected
  • Fluent Business English is required
